The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state is invited vide reference cited above wherein they were requested to inform to  the teachers to participate in video recording on the topics in the lessons from classes 7th to 10th . Even though 1.87 lakh teachers are working in the state, only 809 teachers have responded and given consent to prepare video lessons.

           As you all know that the students are away from the school due to COVID-19 from March 3rd week and it will be continued up to 2nd august-2020. Most of the students are coming from the poorest of the poor families, rural and urban slums. Their parents can’t pay attention towards their studies. Hence we need to take care of them to engage in the learning process. Though abundant material / videos are available in various platforms like YouTube and other search engines, children cannot utilize properly. So it is the need of the hour to provide video lessons prepared by their own teachers, to create interest among the students.

In view of the circumstances explained above, it is the first and foremost duty of the every officer who is working in the department to think and start sincere efforts to motivate each and every teacher to involve in the process of preparation of video lessons in each and every topic in every subject and in every class. It is the responsibility of the officers to see that the students should be utilized their time in an effective way and they should not waste their time in unwanted activities.

The MHRD GOI gave a call to the states to involve all Headmasters, teachers, educational experts, NGOS etc., who are working on education to prepare videos to have a repository of e-Content under ” Vidya Daan” program.
Hence all the RJDs and DEOs are requested to spread the message in a big way to motivate the Head Masters and teachers to participate in preparing video lessons in all subjects and classes. Further they are requested to submit information in the proforma enclosed to the proceeding on or before 06-06-2020.
